Just makes us on par with every other RL ground, where when we visit I see a lot of our fans partaking. I won't be having one but then I feel a bit like live and let live really. I don't mind others having a drink in the seats, and I guess for some it will make it a more enjoyable experience. You can't pleae everyone but at leats its now consistant with the restof the grounds!

Im more thinking about now i can get to game 30 mins before kick off, get a pint and watch the lads warm up and stuff

if you like the warm up and pre-match, then no wonder you need a supply of alcohol!

Im sort of glad that they've allowed drinking in the stand, i never drink in the stadium at half time due because by the time you have been served, you have to down your pint if you want to get back to your seat in time to watch the second half. This way you can have a drink and still watch the game.

As everyone has already said on here, I hope it doesn't get spoilt by people who need to be constantly going to the bar/toilets all of the first half.

Hope there will be plenty of polics there to breathalize the idiots that just go to far, dont mined drinking in moderation its just the fat bellied beer men who act so stupid when drunk.

was a bit worried before the game started that i would have been doing the mexican wave for most of the match, up and down every ten minutes for people to go get drinks, but thankfully the row i sit on must be all t-totals'

was fine where i was in south, only saw a few drinking and none at all on my row, and more importantly behind me

All seemed fine, people too advantage of it without abusing it.

didn't seem to cause any problems...but of course a cold beer wouldn't have tempted everyone on a cold evening. And the games with bigger away crowds will be a bigger test.

There was a lot of people around me that had no idea drinks were allowed. I think the numbers will swell when everyone knows its ok and when the warmer weather comes around. I'm all for it though doubt i'll use the chance myself, having to drive to games. I just hope it doesnt turn out like the semi at Donny when shower after shower of the stuff rained down on me and the missus. Not a very nice experience.

The odd occasion I have had a lift and had a pint at games I have found it annoying when it takes ten minutes or more to get a drink and then you have around 5 minutes to neck it before the game restarts. not very civilised but then I suppose neither are most FC fans! This should help with that at least. Just hope as someone else said that the minority dont spoil it for the majority. Sensible policing must be the answer - chuck the idiots out.
