Allam is starting to show his true colours now. At first I thought this guy wanted to give the city of Hull a top footbll team and sporting village facilities which all sounded encouraging. Yes he did save city from being in financial ruins (like Pompey and Rangers) which I did applaud for but now he's a fricking nutcase. I want City to succeed and do well but most importantly I want FC to succeed and the way he has disrespected legends of the club is disgraceful. I miss the Boulevard and it would be great to have our own little home again! But this isn't going to happen in this financial climate. There's more to come so be prepared!

A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself. When you rescue a dog, you gain a heart for life. Handle every situation like a dog. If you can't Eat it or Chew it. Pee on it and Walk Away. "No amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party. So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin. " Anuerin Bevan:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_19170.jpg

Maybe they are still in private negotiations with the SMC, or maybe they are sitting back, quietly, letting it take its own course. IMO they are doing the right thing. To get into a public slanging match with Mr Allam would be stooping down to his petty level.

A few parks have gone as part of development (Queen Elizabeth Playing fields) now houses a school! also lots of school fields were sold for development several years ago. They tend to build mini parks now on the new housing developments.

One of the big thing trumpeted about the KC (and that attracted Sport England funding) was it's "park land setting", I cannot see any Councillor allowing the Allams (or anyone else) to buid in the parklands, in fact, I never really saw where his "sports village" was going, but then as HWS states, people in Hull hate the fair don't they, so it can go on Walton Street, no problem.....

the guy is a lunatic, and the only thing worse than a lunatic is a lunatic megalomaniac and the only thing worse than a lunatic megalomaniac is a lunatic megalomaniac with money and the only thing worse than a lunatic megalomaniac with money is a lunatic megalomaniac with money, and a petty personal vendetta.

I never trusted him from the moment he popped up. He tried to buy one of the Sheffield clubs before the he got his hands on City, so he wasn't looking out for the people of Hull. He's a ruthless businessman and his business comes first. He’s no philanthropist eiher, everything he does has a motive. I’ll state hear and now that this will all end badly for Hull City, I don’t know when but it will.

The problem I have is most politicians and councilors also have form for being underhand and going back on promises and being seduced or had over by guys like Allam...

I think you maybe right, however my concern is how it will affect Hull FC, I pray we are not a casualty of this ruthless businessman.

you'll get no disagreement from me on that one, "when you need a ticket for the gravy train, you have to acquire it yourself", a sentence said to me by a serving councillor (not at HCC I might add)

Allam has shown his true colours from day one, for those who wished to see. Problem is many were blinded by the 'saviour of Hull City' thing. Alarmingly, people who don't have a vested interest - I.e. the majority of voters in Hull - will still view it like this first and foremost, and not bother to look further.

His crazy rants (coconuts and toffee apples) and petulance (Melton), coupled with his business shrewdness (Hull City were bought with a loan from Allam Marine; Hull KR's 'gift' was also a loan) and ruthlessness (Pearson, Barmby and now Picturegate) show what a dangerous adversary he is. And has been all along.

Absolutely correct, I was speaking to some folks who are in a badminton team (not rugby fans) and the general consensus was that Allam was a great guy who was interested in all sports in the city!

I strongly suspect that the club have / will be doing one of two things;

1) Working out a strategy to appease the fans of Hull FC when it becomes known that they refused to pay for the putting up of pictures as they didn't see it as an issue.

OR as I strongly suspect

2) They are sitting back and allowing us the fans a say on the matter and watching as this rides out in the media and Allam is shown for the fool he is. It will only generate bad feeling in the area towards Mr Allam and his family and in turn his business interests. When the time is good AP and HFC will comment which I am certain will be some time after the issue has been resolved.

I will add I think one or two need reminding that the money for the stadium came from the sale of a company that serviced the East Riding not just Hull. The people who have the STD code 01482 all have a stake in that stadium. Mr Allam is being foolish if he thinks that it is merely the people of Hull he has to concentrate on.

A lot more questions need to be asked of this man before much too long. He and his cohorts are a danger to the fine club that we support. Need to keep him close otherwise we are in deep bother. The writing has been on the wall from day one.

see as the kc.com agreed to be the name of the stadium in 2002 (signed a 10 year contract) and in 2012 didn't kc agree a deal for the naming rights of the stadium till now 2025 ????????

so the kc stadium is here till 2025 (i think lol) after that it might by call "THE ALLAM'S STADIUM"
