Fail to see how saints have offered £100k a year but it's more than we offered yet he would have been one of our highest paid players. The avegare wage in the squad must be around £70k for established 1st teamers

Quite apart from his obvious attitude problems, I wouldn't want to see Chase at Hull simply because I think he is incapable of playing to any structured game plan. Other coaches may be comfortable making allownaces for that, I doubt Gentle would do so.

Gentle was assistant coach at Wests Tigers, were Benji is king. Chase fits perfectly.

Any team could accomodate chase if they had a very good organising scrum half playing alongside him who would consistently run all of the palys and give chase a roaming role

I think Gentle would love a player like Chase in his team , Benji he aint but a similar type of player .

How come know one now wants chase when they was page after page on rumours only 6 months ago on us signing him and how everyone rated him . 1 bad tackle later and know nobody wants or rates him anymore . He would improve us tenfold and I would take him with no hesitation . Did post last week Ellis plus cash for him but was just wishful thinking .

Who has said they don't rate him? There's a difference between not rating and not wanting.

If you read most the post a lot of people now don't rate him , don't take it personal . I think a few people on here have way to much pull . Soon as a certain few like or dislike players other people jump in and agree . Think some are scared of having there own opinion at times . And no I don't mean you just in general .

Adam pearson really sold the vision of the club to ellis and thats why he turned saints down. Dont be suprised to see ellis named as captain next year, also the club want him to do some youth coaching.
