If we are after another second rower then this signing makes no sense to me at all. We are screaming out for some pace out wide. It honestly feels like he's been offered, Radford has thought 'I've heard of him', and we've gone for it. I know its difficult to sign NRL players of a certain age and quality, but this really doesn't fill me with any joy at all.

Radford as intimated that Ellis will move to prop for next year, a move a lot of back rowers make to help prolong their careers.

Morley, Peacock, Gallen are some top quality ones, i`m sure there are a few more that i can`t think of

Jamie Peacock for one. Not sure it prolonged his career though
