This is one of the things that have annoyed me, they seem to have forgot how smug and cocky they where after last year, starting a Ganson appreciation thread, creating pictures of Ganson wearing a rovers kit, Chairman going onto the radio with his "tough s**t" attitude.

Suddenly is happens to them and they are crying all over the place.

Without looking I bet last year I had a moan about the decisions, but was equally concerned about how we let such a lead slip, they should be looking at how unfit they looked at the end of the game and how we got back into the game.

Can we get a sound bite of that? Would be nice to post it on the rovers board. Seems like sound advice to me...

You know what you're going get from Hudgell after a defeat like this. It's water off a ducks back for a Hull fan who is basking in the glow of the red faced Rovers fans spewing venom who've forgeten it's only game & the worst thing that happened is they might have missed out on a point.

The thing that I'm most disappoined about is the way Hudgell has questioned the integrity of Jon Sharp. It shows Hudge' for the small minded, paranoid fool that he is. I'm pleased his tenure at Craven Park has lasted this long as I honestly think he is holding them back. Long live Hudgell !! It's always someone elses fault ......

In a week when a poor innocent family man is hacked to death in the street, sandercock and hudgell are using the word TRAGEDY in very poor taste.

UNLUCKY would be a lot more appropriate and tasteful as there are far worse tragedies in the world than a ref making a mistake.
They should learn some dignity.

Quote: Red & White "What like you lot did last year?'"

We were all very aware about how we struggled in the last 10 minutes of games last year. We should never have let Rovers into a position to claw it back (although had Ganson stopped the game for a serious injury like he should have and noticed the quarter back pass, Rovers may have still been 14 points behind before the Hodgson try).

Swings and roundabouts for me. He's right to feel aggrieved. He's completely out of order to question the integrity of the head match official who had no control of the game simply for being linked in the past to the club he hates.

A huge insult to Jon Sharp but even bigger is him thinking he has to find an explanation for Wovers Supporters. Does he think they are all dumbclucks icon_lol.gif Perhaps he could find one for Hull Supporters cos we don't know either what Stevie G saw.

I have a knack of remembering completely random things, and I think I've remembered why Hudgell is singling Sharp out so much.

Back when Cooke joined Rovers, he made his debut against Huddersfield live on SKY amid much fanfare, Huddersfield then spoilt the party by beating them, and in his interview with SKY Jon Sharp said he was dedicating the win to HullFC and that once you'd played for the club the feeling never leaves you etc.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if 6 years on Hudgell is still holding a grudge about it.

In fact, I would guess this to be the undoubted truth. The phrase "vocal advocate" would back that up.

Could these astounding observations regarding Sharp's background verge on defamation, as Hudgell appears to imply that Sharp is still being influenced by former allegiances? Regardless of the facts that Jon had no influence on the match and that subsequent events may have tainted his memories of his Hull days anyway, could any such reference in relation to an RFL official's background be seen as an inference of his being capable of bias, and as such beyond the pale?

We got screwed last year and they got screwed this year.

Our club acted so much more professional last year and that makes me proud. Gentle focused more on us letting a lead slip rather then blaming the forward pass or allowing play to go on whilst Martin was injured. I have read nowhere from management at Rovers about them conceding three tries in the last ten minutes to lose a game from a 10 point lead. Its all being finger pointing at the referee rather then looking at themselves, its that type of deluded management which currently sees them outside the play offs.

Greg Eden should buy ganson a fair few pints because he has saved his blushes big time.
