I used to go up until 2 years ago. Got fed up of not being able to see the racing, queing for about a month for a beer and paying £80 a day for the privilege.
We went to tenerife last year, watched it all in a bar, had a good bet, good drink, and it cost less than it normally costs me there.
Can'[t doubt the quality of the racing but give me Ebor week every time. |

lookin forward to it tbh as its me 1st time, put meslf off it every year as it does me head in at times when everyones fallin about drunk at racin altho theres plenty who go there who love racin and havin a few guiness' is all part of it i suppose. just hope i can get a couple of wins whilst were there and get out on the nite and enjoy the crack (!)  lookin at stoppin at uttoxeter on the way home for the midlands national next satdy (if weve still got any funds left!) |

Gold cup day is an experience. You'll see the difference from Thurs to Friday.

Backed Hull heavy with 10 start on Wiliam Hill , odds are 4/15 on but 10 start is good for me.
Also Hudds/Hull at 15/2 looks good value for small flutter in half time full time
