| Honestly have no idea how tonight will pan out. Could be anything from a ten point win for us (fingers crossed) to a thirty point win for them (fingers uncrossed!!). We're coming off two underwhelming performances in defeat and a week off. Difficult to gauge what mood we will be in, think the first ten minutes will set the mark for whether we're up for this or not.
Still not convinced by Leeds, still think they're hit and miss. Hopefully tonight will be one of those games where they're a touch disjointed. If that's the case, think it will boil down to who takes their chances when they come up. Think it may be closer than some are making out on here (I hope!!!).
A win tonight and next week and all will be sweetness and light on here again, two defeats and we could potentially be back in the bottom four with that all too familiar sinking feeling that we have all come to dread in recent years. Somehow we need to pick up that early season momentum again or another year may simply drift away into nothing by the halfway point. Tonight would be a real nice moment to regain that upward feeling again.
All of a sudden, this next month feels pivotal to how the year may pan out. Games against the mid-table pack. Think our next few results will go a long way to determining where we are come September. Top-six, we all feel reasonably happy. Bottom-four will see an air of deflation around the place. I'm still hopeful the second half of the year will be better than it has been these last 4/5 years, but we need to pick up the thread again fairly sharpish if that is to happen. Hoping for a decent night's entertainment out on the Western terrace.

| I think fans forget just how bad we were last season. We asked to be competitive this season and mostly we have been. This is the first part of a rebuild. There are new players in next season, some youngsters and the continued evolution of the club. I think beating Wigan set the bar too high. My main disappointment was the Huddersfield loss but red and yellow cards are a good excuse. But discipline must improve. We should be aiming for top 6 imo. This game will be a good barometer I feel.

I wish I could forget just how bad we were last season!!!!! It's still a recurring nightmare for me! Like you say, the big disappointment so far this year was the Huddersfield loss which has knocked some of the feel good optimism out of the fanbase. Maybe we were getting a little carried away with the opening seven games and seeing us second in the table. But even so we're still well ahead of where any of us realistically expected us to be (both in results and importance) after ten games. I repeat what I said earlier today, if we can get back on the horse and grab two wins tonight and next week the situation will look a whole lot positive once more. Hoping we can pick the thread back up again tonight. Think it's too early to start writing the season off just yet, even for us!!

Agree, let’s be honest we are still way ahead of where any of us thought we’d be at this point. Think it just shows how much things gave changed that we’re feeling a little disappointed in the recent performances particularly Huddersfield. We all knew that we’d likely have some downs along the way so all is not lost. Injuries have hurt us that’s not an excuse but when we are still a few recruitment cycles away from where we want to be having injuries will hurt. We’ve not had the easiest opening 3rd of a season either. Still don’t see anything so far as to why we can’t push for a top 6 spot even with out dip in form.

| Not keen on us overplaying Bourouh each week. Really need an interchange 9 in my opinion to keep things fresh and keep some speed out of dummy half. Got to wonder why Balmforth isn't getting much game time even though he earned a new deal this year. Seems to be playing all kinds of positions in the reserves too. Second row last week I think it was.

| Don't really see the point of a winger on the bench when Burough is taking an 80 minute flogging every week. It reduces his effectiveness especially when Balmforth can change a game off the bench.

Looking like a good call unfortunately, Rapana won't be back tonight.
