| I don't think Wigan do push the boundaries, certainly not like they used to. I used to hate watching Wigan on TV but now they're a great team to watch, sometimes having a local referee can have the opposite effect.
I don't think it makes much difference where they're from tbh depending on which rules they decide to enforce this week it's like a lottery most of the time anyway.

| Father Ted:Jake the Peg:
wigan consistently push the boundaries of the rules so good to see the refs are cottoning on. I doubt the penalty count will be the deciding factor this year You just don't get it do you! It isn't how many penalties Wigan are conceding it's how many penalties are Wigan's opponents are conceding. You guys at Hull FC have been awarded 49 penalties so far this season. Wigan have been awarded 18. Last week HKR conceded 10 pens against you when they won convincingly. The week prior they conceded 3 penalties in a game they lost by 16. That referees are treating teams differently when they play Wigan is a claim that does appear to be backed up by the data. I don't think Jack Smith being in charge will adversely affect you guys! Yeah I do get it. wigan are reffed the same as everyone else or are you seriously suggesting there is some conspiracy against wigan? Utter nonsense.

| I'd be tempted to give Rapana a rest, he looked a bit broken at the end of the derby and put Briscoe back in the centre. However if Rapana is good to go then Barron for Brisoce for me. Harsh on Tom but I think Rapana is a better centre and we could do with Harvey's pace put wide.

| could eseh be lining up against us?
Despite wigan's potential 4 props missing, only dupree is definitely missing due to a failed HIA

| I'd expect Mago to play, he was missing through illness rather than injury last week.

| Yes that's the other option Rapana might need a week off.

think its been confirmed it was hamstring since so its going to be under strength packs on show. Wigan missing Thompson, Havard, Dupree and Mago, but we can still run with Walters, Byrne, Hill and poss move Ellis from 13 to cover at prop. Rest of bench likely to come from young lads

| Dawn injuries
Rapana Watts Holmes Fash Cartwright Lane
Probably Chamberlain
5 forwards who would be in on Sunday if fit
Chamberlain "far away" doesn't sound good and Holmes was supposed to be back already but seems no clear idea when
