Expect Salford away now to be moved, currently on the Sunday before and they play Wakey in the cup on the Thursday.

Should help us - we've currently got an 8 day gap before the Salford game to play with.

You have to question the common sense at Sky don't you. Salford v Wakefield & Leeds v Featherstone for the Thu/Fri games. Common sense would dictate that the teams with only 16 miles between them should play the Thursday and the teams with nearly 50 miles the Friday so why do they put them the other way round?!

Not sure Sky would have had much say in this to be honest. BBC got the pick of the games and would have had the say on timings.

Wakey to Salford is only a 50 min journey, an hour tops. Avoiding Friday traffic is probably not a bad thing.

As for our game, from a personal point of view I'd have preferred Saturday as I cannot make the Sunday. C'est La Vie!

From a team point of view, this creates a big imbalance on turnaround for the Wakefield game. Id they play Thursday, We play Sunday and then against each other the following Friday!!!!!!

Think BBC have first choice and Sky pick up the crumbs.
