Is it Carl Minns?
Can I punch him even if it isn't?

| Lots of hypocrisy on this thread. People saying it is the players to blame for not winning. Yet those same posters lambasted Gentle when the players failed to peform for him. The alleged cancer has been at the club for a long time but our current coach was also part of this club at the same time.
It also does not fill you with confidence when the coach says he knows 5 players will do everything asked of the them, and that he doesn't know what went wrong.
IF Radford ultimately fails in his job Pearson has to stop listening to people within the club and have a complete overhaul of all the backroom staff.

Spot on. The crisis was always going to happen at some point, and, for me, the test of Radders was always going to be how he dealt with it once it came.
So far, he's proved me wrong with the way he's man-manged the team (I thought he was too close), but this is the big one.
Frankly, I think he'll do the right thing. He really hasn't a choice.

Aye. The coup to oust Gentle still sickens me. I do, however, now believe Radford can be strong enough to overcome such a threat to himself. I hope so, because we really can't afford yet another coach and new dawn. The fans' patience won't last another rebuilding period.

A lot of people said very much the same thing throughout Agar's tenure, as well.

They did. I stuck to blaming Agar and still do although I do think his hands were tied a lot of his tenure.
But I gave Agar time and I will give Radford time although with relegation being a factor again his time to get things right is dramatically shortened.

I didn't want Radford to fail, I KNEW he was going to fail, not enough experience (Needs another 6 years before he even gets to a club that wants to be aiming for top 4 ), doesn't have the know how/skillset (already shown several times over this season), can't manage the game whilst under pressure, again shown already and doesn't stick to his words...
Moving players around from their preferred psositons, leaving players in whom haven't performed, leaving players on the bench for 3/4 match or even not playing them at all..no good saying what you're going to do after not doing what you said youwere going to do before the season started..
It had disaster written all over it and people like you just get right on my wick accepting absolute garbage but because Radford is salt of the earth (backstabber more like it) & we beat a micturate poor Bradford and got lucky against Catalans..oh and could/should've won against Warrington (whom almost got beat by London FFS) and we only lost to Cas because of..(put any old excuse you like in but we lost)
He hasn't got a fecking clue and is now ing in his pants because it's all going wrong & he's looking an embaressment (a lot of his own making) and hasn't even got the gumption to say he'll stick it to the end of the season, that says to me he already knows he isn't anywhere close to being a SL coach, in which case he should have said no thanks, I'm not ready..THAT would have been the the sign of someone with maturity who knows what they are doing...'"
And as the leader of the gang who got rid of Gentle - Yeamo , Houghton (lets all playstation together) Its down to you RADDERS

| Quote: Staffs FC "And other than an poor individual error from the guy who many (including myself) called to be played at FB Widnes wouldn't have scored a try either. I've just driven 220 miles to watch what is arguably the worst performance I've ever seen by FC at the KC. But I know that had some players done the basics of what their job requires Hull would have won fairly easily - that despite having a seriously weakened pack.
I'm neither for or against Radford and I would have done some things differently in selection than he has. But to blame him for today's defeat is disingenuous as the team he put out created more than enough to win at a canter. Coaches come and go but the same weaknesses in the same players bite time and again. Time for further changes of personnel next week no doubt. We need a group who can consistently perform at the required level. It's only 7 games ago we lost 76-18 after all.'"
Agreed. I've been to every match this season and personally believe we have looked much more capable. Yesterday was just one of those games where collectively the team had a complete meltdown. If we come out with our heads up Friday and win then all will be well.
However we simply do need to start winning. It's all well and good saying we did enough to wi or should have won, but we have no points for wire cas or widnes.

| Two things worry me; his constant changes to the team after someone has a bad game (i know some were enforced) and what he says to the press.
Both of these will p!ss the team off eventually. You can't mention players personally playing badly without affecting confidence and trust and changing players all the time gets no consistency.
Yesterday was one of the worst performances i've seen, regardless of the weather.

Valid argument but all I would say is that Radford's approach is at least different (the opposite mostly) of what has gone before him. Since what has gone before him has failed miserably (protecting players in the media and constantly picking untouchable/underperforming players week in and week out and indeed renewing their contracts) having a totally different approach can at worst only achieve what has gone before. At best it might finally give the first team playing squad the collective kick up the rear it has seemingly required for years now.

| Haven't read the thread completely, but I think it's too early to be calling for the coach's head yet. Although you can't blame people for thinking this immediately after yesterday's effort.
On reflection, you just can't legislate for that complete inept display by probably all but 3 or 4 of the team. What Radford said afterwards was at least refreshing, he identified what the problem is and it's worrying that he said they'd built a full pre season around this problem and it's already happened! However, you're not going to eradicate something so ingrained in the club so quickly. So basically my stance is - once I can forgive, but if this happens again on any kind of consistent basis, the he should be replaced. I'm sure he knows that, he pointed it out yesterday.
Players let him down for me.
