Was in Broughys new shop near the ground when Dean Hoggard said about it there was tears in there eyes it was so sad. Was wonderful when the crowd gave him applause rather then silence. True inspiration to me as a fan god only knows what loved ones & true friends are feeling right now. RIP Prekkie.

Sad on hearing Steve has lost the fight, you'll never be forgotten a true legend. RIP Prekkie

Couldn't believe it when I read it earlier. The word hero is banded around too much, Prekkie truly deserved such a title! Stomach cancer for 7 years (after only being given 6 months!) then going on to raise half a million through countless marathons and other charity events! And as a player I bloody loved him! tHought I would just put down in words what I feel, as someone who is 4 years into remission I know how hard it is to just get up in a morning, He has proved that no matter what you may face, incredible things are possible, what he achieved in 39 years most of us couldn't achieve in 39 lifetimes.
