Im not trying to be pessimistic but have you seen the way some other teams have strengthened ?
I cant understand how you can say we should be 'ATLEAST' making a final. Would be great but hardly a shoe in !! |

Any side still picking Whiting/Radford/Dowes needs an injection of ability still.

Huddersfield, Catalans and Bradford too have great teams. Most have strengthened very well ! |

Catalans will have a problem now that Bird has signed, they need to get someone else in (IMHO), to be honest their is really only Crusaders, Salford, Wakefield and Rovers who haven't recruited well this time around, and that's largely down to finance and uncertainty about franchises beyond 2011. |

Losing Bird is a big loss and would be to any team, Im not sure if they have anyone lined up or coming through the ranks but I would imagine Mogg will step into the halves to partner Bosc, still a very competent half back pairing.
Not so sure Rovers belong in your last set of comments but Im sure we could argue all day over it lol |

I would say that you would come out of that bracket if Clinton gets his visa. Depends also on how Ratu, Hodgson and Cook go. All have potential but then so did Tommy Lee. |

I think Cook has shown he can be far better than his last 2 seasons form, he aint the only player who has really suffered since McNamara has taken control, in fact only really Burgess has progressed under his coaching(I think lol).
Your right possibly about Ratu and Hodgson but both have joined after having very good seasons in the reserves. |

On paper though I believe both our teams look weaker than at least 7 of the rest !

Thats very true. Not seen enough of Ratu to form an opinion to be honest. Hodgson will be a good player no question. Cook is the only one I dont rate, reminds me of Mills. |
