we seem to be one of the only clubs that hang on to local kids just for the sake of it, i know that its a good thing to have local lads in the team but some are just never going to be good enough be it because of our coaching staff ? or just in themselves, we carried matty dale for far to long and i feel lee is another we released dixon and higgins and to be fair they've done well for themselves but i wouldn't have them back. leeds have released there fair share of players over the years and a few have turned out good raynor, dowes, murrell but that's not to say the would of made it if they had stayed at leeds. we should grow some balls and release players that aren't good enough instead of keeping them for sentimental values.

Who in the current side is local and not good enough? Radford and King are the only ones that are debatable imo and King was one one of our better players last night.

You mentioned Lee in your post but again he has been one of our best players this season.

Definelty kingy and radford. G horne does a job but whether he can step up a level im not sure .
I think horney and yeamo are good enough just are inconsistent.
