Liam Knight. Seems a knight in shining armour since he's come across. If we can get Bell off quota we need to offer him an extension!

Have we offered Jed an extension yet? If not I'd be tempted to release him and offer Knight a deal, if he's interested in staying in the UK. I really like Cartwright but he doesn't play enough games for me. Quota players need to be among the top performers at any club and represent good value for money. Cust, Sezer and Ese'ese are evidence of that.

So for next year we have reportedly signed 3 back rowers in batchelor, Bailey and Bell and one prop in hill.  Likely losing 3 props in Watts, eseh and Knight plus ashworth still seemingly not signed up and n9 mention of saos future.

Think Salabio is signed up for next year too? 

We'll maybe keep one of Gardiner or Laidlaw who are both OOC I think as well as Wainhouse. 

I forgot about salabio but leaves us with only him, herman, Aydin, hill and fash. Nowhere near good enough. Hill is promising but young. We really need 2 experienced props in addition to those. I'm guessing ashworth will likely be one although does he do enough work when on the pitch? Maybe that's a sticking point. He's a big unit and should really be giving us more go forward than he does plus discipline is an issue

Maybe there is something to the James Harrison rumours. Would certainly be a welcome addition. 

I like Ashworth and it's a positive that he seems to be stringing a few games together this year after it was a bit stop start last year. The late hits are becoming a concern now though, you can accept the odd one but it's every week at the moment. 

Personally think Ashworth will get another deal. Not many domestic props kicking around and if we can somehow mange to keep Knight then we will have a good set of props. I think Gardiner, Laidlaw and Jebson will all be allowed to leave.
