| Why? There's worse players than Bailey getting minutes in the nrl right now.

Was about to post the same thing. Bailey's a decent to good player, he's just a bit of a character that people love to hate and people let that cloud their judgement of him.

He isn't too bad at playing rugby, it's the being a total w@nker that'll see him get tonked. Just imagine the scene if he tries his usual little dirty digs on Paul Gallen, it'll make it look like Lee Radford was just giving him a kiss and a cuddle.

| Gary Hethrington has said Leeds are not interested in signing Tom Briscoe. If true any idea where he will be playing next season?

IMO, Bailey is a half decent prop who doesn't stand out due to the team he plays in. How he would play in an average team, that gets dominated on a regular basis is a hypothetical question at the moment. However he is also a penalty machine, a wind up merchant and rarely first to the scene if there is a flair up, but you can guarantee he will get involved once his target is distracted.
Due to this arrogant attitude and the fact he is a "Pom" from the multiple champions, he would be targeted by the Aussie enforcers. Personally I don't think he would be able to take this and would be flattened on a regular basis.
Just my opinion of course

An opinion which, I am sure, is shared by many. I am one of those who agrees with you.

He'd be insignificant in the NRL, he'd just be a average player.
There's quite a lot of players who have the same traits in the NRL (Ennis, Reynolds, Matai, Hodges, Thaiday, Myles, etc) but they rarely get targeted and if they do it usually works in their favour.
I don't know about this "arrogant attitude" as I think it gets blown out of proportion and players getting targeted because their English must have passed Ellis, Burgess (both), Widdop and the ear muncher Graham by.

| Bailey gets by in a champion team surrounded by the likes of peacock. Don't know why people think he'd have to go as far as oz to get shown up. He could go down the road to cas or wakey n do that. I
remember people saying Danny ward was a good forward, used to look at em n think are you serious? Left Leeds n fizzled out into obscurity via low end teams having unbelievably playing for GB!! Same would happen with Bailey in my opinion.

Wasn't it Wilkin who had a go at Bailey in teh press after his over zealous celebration at the GF a few years ago?
Ellis, Burgess, Widdop and Graham are recognised as being high class players who can let their performances their places in the NRL. I would find it difficult to believe that Bailey could do that. It wouldnt be long before he mouth would get the better of him and that would be the trigger.

| So they don't get targeted because their English?
Wilkins never wound any opposition fans up or been accused of been arrogant.

| I would say James graham is a far better prop than bailey.yet in all the games I've seen him play in the nrl graham is nothing more than ordinary.all the people saying bailey is a good forward should get a grip.always 3rd into the tackle very rarely takes the ball in and a cheap shot merchant to boot.

guess you don't watch him a lot then, bulldogs fans are going as far as saying he's the best prop they have seen and they would like him to sign for life. stats from yesterday against a strong manly side 183 meters, 31 tackles, 5 one on one tackles and not 1 miss tackle or mistake would say he is far from average. ow yeah nearly forgot probably put the best tackle i have seen in the NRL on Anthony the grub and took him out of the game.
