| All DM's comments just sound like excuses and just saying whatever he can to keep Cas fans off his back to me. Saying he's signed for crazy money and then to barely train, just sounds ridiculous. Does anybody genuinely believe Cartwright is the type of guy who would let somebody on the pitch who hasn't worked as hard in training as every other player on the team. I'm quite confident Watts will be in for a tougher few weeks of training than he ever received in his years at Cas.

| Can't imagine Cartwright or Myler signing off the move with no or limited training, as for crazy money...could be very little, doubt Watts or FC have told a sour Maguire how much we are paying him.

| Watts interview, he said wants to achieve 400 sl games. That tells me he’s motivated to play. It was a no brainer for both Hull and the player.Watts was prepared to drop to championship so he’s not going to put that big a dent in the playing budget.

| Plus the fact he’s already been in a couple of this weeks training pictures but he “can’t train” they don’t get on by all accounts.

| Sounds bitter from Mcguire, Hull or Watts are exactly going to call him and tell him the details of the deal.

| From the information available it seems that McGuire & Watts do not get on for whatever reason and McGuire has chosen to not play Watts. The more I hear/read it the more it seems like McGuire's failure to be able to man manage. There's no way that we will be paying Watts silly money when Myler since day one spoke about sorting out the use of the cap and has moved on players early that had silly money deals. Sounds like McGuire is just trying to deflect and appease the Cas fans when they are pretty poor and are in a similar situation that we were in previously following Radfords exit.

| There’s likely some truth in that with his age they might have had to manage his training etc but he’s their main go forward and who they needed on the pitch week and week in out and likely a big part of their salary cap. For us he’ll hopefully be a bit part player and a bit of an impact player or cover when needed. It’s obvious he’s had some kind of disagreement with the coaching staff at Cas that’s the main reason why he’s moved on.
