Can see Michaels ending up at somewhere like Widnes.
The interesting one for me is if we offer Thompson a new deal.'"
As said I'd put Griffin on the wing if Fonua does leave. Don't see the point in signing BJB even if both Fonua and Michaels leave.
Thompsons definitely going. Will be an interesting off season with ins and outs. Westerman has offered to pay the extra £40k that Hull and Warrington can't agree on.

| Griffin is a Radford type winger, so could easily see him playing there.
Could BJB also play centre to offer cover, or would we see him primarily as a winger?
I can also see Thompson leaving. Turgut will be a star, you can just see it.
Very interesting about Westerman though!
Have we also offered £40K to Wire to keep Lineham?

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

| BJB was a fullback as a bain wasn't he? For the right price he'd be a good addition and probably see us as a chance to win things (no disrespect to Wakey). We won't ever replace Fonua directly but there are other strong wingers out there who can put in the hard yards up the middle, maybe we could bring Tom Briscoe home .
I can see Thommo ending up at Wire or Widnes. He has flashes of brilliance but not consistent enough. Wire were after him last year weren't they?

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |

Apparently Westy wants to come back to Hull but Hull and Wire can't agree on a transfer, but Westy has offered to pay £40k for the fee. Or that's the rumour at least. Personally wouldn't have him back, he gets in the way more times than not when he plays as a ball handler.

I think when he did that at Hull, it was because we had nobody else really. At Warrington, especially last season, he looked very good with 2 good halves in the side.
I think as a wide running second rower he would be a good option

| Westy would/could fit in to the ball playing second row role Mini has been playing this season. His biggest weakness is how much he tries to force plays that aren't on or just one man army it, which I hoped would have been coached out of him.

| I don't think we've missed him one bit. Getting fees for him and Lineham was an excellent piece of business.

| I'd be happier with Turgut and Hadley getting more time than Westy coming back.
If Ellis retires we could do with an experienced mature player though. Someone like Glenn Stewart maybe?

| I'd keep Hadley and can't see why we would let him go unless there has been s fall out.
On Westerman I asked the question a few weeks ago when he was at the reserves game, would you sign him back, I would, good player for us, particularly when used right and has played well for Warrington, don't see it happening though.
