| Quote Mrs Barista="Mrs Barista"So cheeky. You've been supporting the appointment of Noble all this time and as soon as it threatens to become a >20% possibility you're changing horses? Just laziness on the avatar front, surely? Overtype Agar in your wheelie bin with Noble. Naughty.
'"
It's fair comment from Jake though really. Given the limited vision and ambition that our board possess, Noble is the best we can realistically hope for and he is a million times better than what we currently have, so I'd be really pleased with his appointment. Whether I'd still be as pleased that he's in the job three years down the line is debatable.

| Ellery Hanley for me, he will have the respect of the players and he's done a good job at the teams he's coached, only trouble is he doesn't take any crap of the board so I don't think they would even consider him.

He's another one that wasn't apparently popular with the players when he was at Saints, but I'm sure he won the double with them, our most successful coach in recent years in Kear got the boot because some senior players didn't like him, Look at how popular Agar is with players such as Fitz and Ogre, being popular with the players definitely isn't the bee all and end all.

313 NRL games, 16 Australian caps and 28 games for Queensland is very average to say the least? What aren't I getting here? Everytime I saw him play he was immense. Is there more than one Steve Price? Captain of various teams, Player of the year by Rugby League Week magazine. 2004 Queensland player of the SOO series. In game 1 of the 2005 SOO series he was man of the match. 2007 he won 'Captain of the year, and Prop of the year at the Dally M awards. The guy is an utter legend, I wish to god we had more players in our squad with his "very average playing career"!

| I have been reading these Agar out style threads for god knows how long now and I am still yet to read a single post which states exactly what it is they think another Coach could do better (other than some waffle about Interchanges).
Has anybody posting on here actually attended a training session and had access to session plans and info?
Is anyone on here able to give first hand knowledge of what is said by Rich in the dressing room, on the training pitch, in his tip sheets, at video sessions?
Does anyone on here actually know how he has asked the players to play?
The fact is the guy is battling against so many issues I do not understand what it is you think any other Coach coming in would do differently.
For example, last night, less than 24 hours after an embarrassment of a performance, 3 very senior players were smashed out of their skulls with Wille Mason, one of them so bad he fell down the stairs, in the City Centre.
Is that right do you think? Professional? Agars fault?
Your CEO decided that instead of being at the KC Friday night supporting his team and coach he would go on a weekend break.
Is that right do you think? Professional? Agars fault?
There are two examples from this weekend alone. People could post daily on here with similar examples of how the staff of the club are taking the pee out of the fans.
I can tell you 100% Rich Agar isn't. The guy is busting a gut to try and put things right and get the best out of the players.
You could argue he signed these people and that he should be able to control them but be honest, how many would of said no to Tansey when he signed?
How many of you would say no when the board bring O'Meely, Fitzgibbon, Luaki, Long etc to you and ask if you want them?
I can understand why Agar is getting the blame and I dont think he has helped himself with his press conferences and certain selection choices but he doesn't like talking to the media and the selections were what he wholeheartedly thought would do the best possible job for that game.
Terry Matterson very rarely does Sky, he is not a media whore, it does not make you a bad coach.
Hopefully Agar will be still in a job for the rest of this season and some of the pi55 takers at the club wont because I feel sorry for you lot who are paying their wages after seeing the state of them last night.

If this is true it's bad tidings indeed. Any chance you could pm the players involved? Cheers!

| I'm not sending players names to anybody, sorry.
I understand if this will make people doubt it's the truth but I dont think it is right.
The reason I named WIllie Mason is because to be fair he seemed pretty much in control and the worst he did was standing there pumping his fist in the air whilst chavs chanted his name
