Bit of a gamble appointing Agar. It's one thing motivating players for one week, another to do it on a regular basis and at this level. If I was a Hull fan this morning I would not be happy with this appointment and it reminds me very much of when Saints dumped McClennan and went for Eric Hughes instead of the top class Australian that we knew we needed to compete. Hughes won nothing and we replaced him with a highly rated Australian assistant coach and won the double.

Gotta give the kid a chance, he is in an ideal situation to know where the team needs to improve, but as an assistant, had to tow Sharps line for 2 years. I have a feeling that he will do well.

Sounds like we have taken the cheap option yet again, Agar has been involved with Sharp so he shoulders some respobsibility, can't imagine why we haven't given him the rest of this season to prove himself and then looked at a new contract, or was he always going to replace Sharp when the end of the season came?

Don't think anybody is slagging off RA, must fans know and appreciate his efforts for the club.

The appointment is not going to suit all, opinions will differ, you'll just have to deal with it.

TBH, it's obvious times are bad when the best counter argument to people not happy with the appointment you can come up with is "Won't you be going anymore".
