| Quote: boardwalkempire7 "Agree that Aydin has gone well but think king is very similiar style player and do we need another ex kr squad player.
Thought Myler referred to 2 big pieces of his jigsaw left.
One being Cust.
A 2nd player like Byrne that’s played regular for Wigan’s first team or Sutton would be a much better.
Fingers crossed.'"
Think King is a really good prop, probably Rovers best prop the last few seasons (apart from this one), not sure what happened this year.
Don't see the relevance to another ex Rovers player, of they improve us, I'd sign them no matter where they cone from.
I hope I wrong but don't think it will be one more big signing, was that quoted?

| Pretty certain King has signed for Huddersfield.
'Final couple pieces of the puzzle' were the words Myler alluded to, assuming that Cust was one of those.
As mentioned above, the dream scenario would be moving Sao on and bring Bryne and Bullock in, with the quota being used on Leutele.

Agree, although I'd go for a slightly younger centre, someone like Te Where.

| Connor Wynne is in Hull Live saying how he'd love another chance at Hull. Admitted he made mistakes with regards his fitness and has now got confidence back in himself.
Personally I wouldn't mind him getting another shot. He had flaws in his game and seemingly his attitude off the pitch but he had raw talent. Think the new staff would be able to get him fit and firing. He could be a handy weapon in the backs and still a young lad.
He won some award at Fev's awards (supports POTY maybe?) so must have shown some good signs this year.

I always like Wynne, there were questions with regards to his attitude but he's fast, strong and can cover the full 3/4 line. He'd be very handy when the inevitable injuries occur.

| Wynne had a bit of mongrel in his game as well.
I know he let himself down, but he had potential.
I’m hoping we now have a coach who will work on players, rather than just bin them off.

He could nail down the full back berth.

In fairness to Smith I heard Radford and Hodgson had pulled Wynne up for behaviour and being overweight. Now I take rumours with a pinch of salt...but if that's true then all 3 coaches can't have been wrong.

| His time has gone now anyway I would have thought.
Got players coming through in the positions he can play.

| Not sure where he plays, even at Fev, not deemed good enough to play FB or centre, so has been playing on the wing, do we need another winger?

We have, but they are probably 2- 3years away. (If they develop)
He was a pillock apparently but i always thought he offered more
than Cam Scott, who lacks pace/aggression, something Wynne has in spades.
Some players can change! In the 80's iirc we were negotiating a deal with Bradford for Hanley
who had a bit of a `bad boy' reputation, but dropped interest after his brush with the law - he turned out ok - for Wigan!
i'd be tempted to give him a chance,- short term `trial' contract?, Nothing to lose really

Is he good to play centre though, at Fev they have played him on the wing all season, if he is good enough to play centre at SL level, then surely he would be playing there. I'd rather develop Barron and Martin, who are both ready IMO.
I'm not sure he is a solution to our centre position.

| Wynne was hard done to by Tony Smith and Co picking on a young player but letting the older heads do what the they wanted. But Wynne probably didn't do himself any favours being best mates with Reynolds who was tossing it off here too
