If a class player like Newman comes onto the market then if we have any ambition as a club we have to be interested.
With Swift leaving we have no strike now in our threequarters and i know we need forwards but this has to be looked at.

If Newman were to be available, we should be offering Carlos to clubs, making a big offer to Newman and using Carlos' quota spot on another second rower

If Newman did become available (which I don't think he will) there will be more attractive offers than us for him to pick from unfortunately.

Certainly wouldn't be against Westerman coming back but surely he's one player who will be staying at Cas with them having a clear out.

to Newman and Westerman.
The likes of griffin was also a pub trainer.
Said this before wigan & saints are the template, they ship this type of player out.
