Possibly. My opinion of Motu at fullback isn't reactionary though, it's been consistent for the entirety of his time played there. I don't think all of his performances are shocking from fullback, but I don't think he's ever looked like a fullback. I'm always terrified when he's under the high ball. I'd say he's played some good rugby from fullback, but never actually played the position. Unlike a lot on here, my opinion is that the most important job of a fullback is dealing with kicks, part of his game that he simply doesn't have. |
