Discussions with some clubs about amalgamation especially in the lower leagues would be a good step.
I know its controversial and fans would be initially up in arms but Wakefield,Castleford and Featherstone as one club playing in a decent stadium would also be good for the game.

Does that include you actually going to matches or just complaining from your sofa ? The game survives on people actually going to matches who we call happy clappers so people like you can just complain and rubbish everything the club tries to do.

Hawkins has played more first grade than Pele IIRC so shouldn't have a problem getting a visa

From what I've seen online Pele has played 7 games while Hawkins 6, I think it's based on appearances made in the last 12 months and Pele has more, although I thought it has to be certain percent, so not sure how Pele can get a visa, so may Hawkins could too.

Be good to have some names, Hawkins, Volkman, Johns, Brown and Wakeman are what seems to be available.

I would take Volkman, but again, more of a 6 than a 7

He isn't the biggest middle but whenever I have seen Wests, he literally runs at full speed into every tackle and epitomises the fighting spirit you need at a bottom end club. He is a fans favourite there, so can't see that being a popular decision and I'd think he'd be ideal in SL, shame we have no option but to look for halfbacks as he'd be a good 13 for us.
