If that’s true and they’ve advanced them another payment after the farce of lifting the original sanctions think it will have major repercussions for the RFL. It’s obvious this is what Beaumont has been kicking off about the last day or two but don’t think he’ll be alone in being angry. They’ll be a vote of no confidence or whatever you want to call it and Sutton will be gone. There’s usually no smoke without fire and Shaw wouldn’t have ran it if he wasn’t confident there was something in it.

| So we saying the advance in payment from RFL is why and how the players have now been paid?
Hearing James Harrison and Toby King also. Not sure how true that is.

| Is it just me or did Jack Ashworth look troubled during his post match interview? He had a proper scowl on his face and didn't seem at all comfortable in front of the camera. Is he just not a natural or is he sweating over a contract extension? I hope it's not the latter as I would expect him to be retained. We are looking to add size, not lose it. He plays direct and hard and always appears fully committed.

Hearing James Harrison and Toby King also. Not sure how true that is. I'd be happy with both of them. If Harrison Signs, it could mean the end for Sao or Fash. Maybe even both. A front Row of Ese'Ese, Harrison, Sao, Aydin and Ashworth is pretty solid. King and Hardaker is also a decent partnership with cover still needed if Briscoe departs. I know Chamberlain can fill that role but he's not ideal and I prefer Rapana at fullback or covering the wing. He doesn't seem as effective in the centre.

| The way does his business, I'd he shocked if at least one contracted player isn't released.
Be very happy with King amd Harrison (can't see Harrison happening though as under contract)
King for Briscoe Harrison for Sao Batchelor for Lane Bell for Staverley
Very good business and all upgrades
Just need a replacement for Abdul.

Don’t know how realistic it would be but Will Pryce would be perfect for us. Chuck in keeping Eseh if we can and 2026 squad is looking like a very good squad.

| I really hope we do offer Ashworth an extension, he's a big lad, British and offers something off the bench, he was one big plus last season and seems to have picked up where he left off this season so far.

I think we will, his bird is from Hull and has a local business so will be keen to stay I imagine.
