I'm not a massive fan of Sutton but no better player will leave the NRL so SL in the next few years.

so it looks certain mcgoldrick will be back at the club for the new season reading wilfs diary!
apart from paea our signings have been very disappointing, will give feka the benefit of the doubt and see how he goes now he has slimmed down, but we have been window shopping at harrods yet buying from primark!

Well who you wanting to sign? as big name aussies don't sign for SL clubs unless in the twilight of there careers. Theres no british halfs worth a punt. Oir front row weve lost Ogre & Lynch and replaced them for Paea who was better then Ogre last season (stat wise) & Feka looks like hes raring to get stuck in so in my opinion he could be a very good replacement for Lynch. You just like to put the team down before they've even played.  |

The simple fact is that there are no available affordable quality half backs out there so I'm not going to criticise the club for not signing one. However I do think our recruitment in other positions has been disappointing. I think we have the weakest pack we have had for years.

Our back rowers are better then last season imho not been disrespectful to Galea or Tickle but they spent last season been injured I think Tuson & Thompson are great replacements & same what I said above with our props. |

I don't want us to sign anyone if what is available is a load of shiit. rovers, Salford and saints have all managed to pick up better halfs than we have so they were available.
Our front row wasn't good enough last year and is probably worse this. you can try and convince yourself otherwise but I'm sure we'll see who is right as the season progresses.
I don't want to put the team down at all but the squad of players we have is nowhere near good enough fro a club operating over the salary cap. Recruitment since mcrae and gentle left has got worse
