I guess your right but the possibility of losing around 1-2k every 2 weeks would mean the balance sheets would need "Adjusting" even more, then if there was ever a audit it would bite him on his tutankhamun.

wow, it's been a hectic 12 hours, a few comments.

A now, a request, WE MUST NOT LET THIS DIE DOWN, it's easy to get all shouty at the start of something like this, but it often fizzles out, and that is what the Allams are counting on. I don't expect FC to comment as it's comercially sensitive for them and we don't know what other clauses are in the lease agreement about speaking up on such things, but I imagine what we're doing is being watched and appreciated.

KEEP UP THE PRESSURE, KEEP SENDING EMAILS, if you haven't done anything yet then please, PLEASE send even the briefest of emails to the Council, they need to understand the depth and spread of feeling. Most DECENT City and KR supporters are behind us, especially about the stupidity of having a suite named after a guy but with no images of him.

myuncleharry (or whatever your new username is) you seem to have no appreciation for the history of sport in Hull, Barmby and Windass achieved NOTHING compared to Johnny Whitely, Barmby is, I agree, a great guy and a great ambassador for the City, Windass, just a bloke who kicked a bag of wind. You say AP has taken a stick to a gunfight. I say Allam is involving himself in a childish playground argument. Hopefully when teacher calls him back in for class, Allam will start behaving.

SMC should never have been run by an interested party.

Will the council have the guts to remove Alllam and SMC as the management company, what are people's views on how close actions like these strain the brief of the SMC to the limit and therefore allow the council to act.

Could the council use this situation to show they are no longer willing to be undermined by a man who's sole aim is personal gain at any cost.

I don't think the Council can remove the Allams from the SMC, or the SMC from the stadium.

It's the last legacy of the Hetherington regeime for not getting involved at the outset, I bet "she's" wetting herself over all this.

I knew FC were reluctant to get involved at the start, daft decision as it was a way to safeguard FCs interests.
The moment FC weren't on board an independent SMC should have been established.

As I recall (and I may well be wrong) AP had already established the SMC and invited FC to "buy a seat" so to speak.

I know the answer already but I assume that Allam has already looked at the legal position and the council are stuck with the SMC. So what do they do about him, as this is going to get messy.

OK, that makes more sense. The council still decided to appoint the SMC though, which how ever you look at it seems like a conflict of interest.

In these things hindsight is a wonderful thing, had AP still been employed by the Allams then none of this would be happening, had AP not "sold" City and gone to Derby he'd never have bought FC, you can keep going round it as long as you like.

I honestly believe the Council thought FC would jump at the chance to be part of the management of their own home, what moron wouldn't..............................step forward Kath & Co
