Chase was invisible today and brough would have made a huge difference.Scrum half is a specialist position and sinfield and chase certainly aren't scrum halves.Three years preparing for a world cup and we turn up without one,whichever way you look at it its the coaches fault,if he wasn't coach our man of steel would have played for us and not scotland !!

Not a real bad performance for our 1st game. Broughy would have taken it to the line and maybe have taken them on as Thurston/Cronk do. Burrows should have played hes great to come on as a replacement and run at tired/lazy defenders always gets a penalty and gains you yards. If SM gets the pivots right we wont be far away. If he does or not is another story. imo

Thing is with England is that there all names. Yes there's a few talented players but others are there based solely on who they are and who they play for.
