| At the end of the day you can only play the opposition who turn up, hull did that last night to a man.so cas were poor,to hulls credit they played the conditions much better than cas.The good thing for me was we never stopped playing once the game was won and players kept wanting to score.Lets hope this gives all the players some much needed confidence ,because without doubt we do have talented players in this squad, and I for one do believe pg is the right man for the job.Lets have a good turn out at Huddersfield next week.

| Quote: Carlotti "Must watch a different match to everyone else,I personally thought Yeaman had a good game, ran the ball in strongly, making very good metres (he & Briscoe didn't get much ball) and had Shenton in his back pocket all night.
P.S. For anybody to suggest Gentle would of dropped Yeaman for Crookes instead of Arundal must be barking MAD,Arundal is so far behind Yeaman its scary, in fact,Crookes is miles in front of him.'" ]
Beat me too it. I thought yeaman had a very solid game, his marker defence was superb and he took the ball up well too, infact considering the left edge saw very little ball I thought Yeaman, Galea and Briscoe all had good games in their own right. You can tell that Galea is itching to develop a partnership with Yeaman but just isnt getting the service at the moment. That said, our right hand side were clinical and I was happy for Joe Arundel who's come under a lot of criticism (from me included) and Lineham just keeps getting better and better.

Gentle said he was brought off to give him a rest, so just a precaution. Sensible decision with the game won.

Hopefully that's all it was.
I thought Westerman was very good yesterday, probably one of his best games for us, and we look so dangerous when he drifts out to the right and starts creating.

| It was a bit of a worry when he came off and went straight down the tunnel. Hopefully that's all it was - off because the job was done (and a good job at that).

| Cas were absolute garbage, their forwards were tired after ten minutes and that carney broke a few tackles but was blowing more than any winger I've ever seen, despite this I think we still showed a lot of positive signs- when the game was clearly won we were still aggressive in defence and our attack still looked slick. I feel like if it was one or two years ago we would have held off and let cas score a few consolation tries and the game would have been more like 40-18 instead of 52-0. Credit to all the players for showing some killer instinct and real aggression, Holdsworth and Horne ran the show very well and Tom lineham is going to be a world beater!
Also thought arundel looked much better and a lot more confident in himself - tickle seemed to be looking out for him in defence and guiding him, think he'll prove his doubters wrong if he hits form and gets back into his rugby properly

| Gentle said Holdsworth was still suffering a hangover affect from the concussion. Still a worry for me as he was holding his head as soon as he kicked his last conversion and the physio got him straight off.

| It was what we were all crying out for after last week, a response. It was a good performance but Castleford contributed to their own downfall in a big way. The most important aspect of the win for me was the defence in keeping a clean sheet. But last night matters not a jot unless we can go to Huddersfield and back up. Consistency is key.

| Whilst I agree that Cas were responsible for loss of ball etc., surely most of this was caused by the sheer ferocity of the FC tackling. They really wanted to put last week behind them and they did this and more. Even when Cas broke our lines the recovery tackling was out of this world. More of the same please.

If Holdsworth dosnt play next week. Who will play half back with Heremai & Seymour out. He won't play Nicklas
