Not defending Kath in the slightest but if the parties involved haven't told anyone else and there is no written dialogue to suggest such (so no traceability like an internal memo that gets released accidentally as per government insider stuff) then unless she used the force/ESP how would she actually 'know'. Same as for Agar.
Unless the guilty parties are prepared to directly accuse others of involvement I'd suggest that accusing others of being involved (Even if we hate them for what they did to our club) is wrong and potentially libelous.'"So you are saying No letter was sent to Hull F C has a Club about one of their player failing a Drugs test I find that hard to expect only 3 people knew about the problem ps I don't hate any of the last Board I just find it hard that only 3 people knew of the incedent

| Any letter from outside the club indicating that a player has failed a drugs test says exactly that, it doesn't give information to your coach and/or board that the player/conditioner/CEO have been implicit in a cover up, how could it if they themselves would not know until any investigation would reveal such? Kath or RA could not decipher from any letter that there was a cover up at any point, if that information was retained between the three antogonists could they?
For all the agency knew it could have been a failure by the player alone, until the investigation only Rule, Cooper, Gleeson (& possibly Long) would have had full knowledge. Did they have any need to tell Kath or RA, no(becasue they were trying to hide something) in fact it would have made the situation worse for the club I reckon, so by their inaction in that regard Rule/Cooper/Gleeson did us a favour in a backhanded sort of way.
Without any evidence it is pure speculation & heresay at best, and given the Mods insistance on not naming people in connection to these kind of events without facts I'm sure they would be equally keen to keep it that way. But don't let me stop you, everyone is entitled to speculate/gossip/dig a hole for themselves.

Confidential?....Don't you mean cover up?.It's one or the other with Agar.Either he knew one of his players was unavalible for selection for failing a drugs test and he was told not to say anything about it.(A club employee hiding the truth again) or he thought Gleeson was unavalible due to mental illness, because he was lied to.I know which one i believe.

| Without any of us knowing the full facts it seems all Agar did was repeat what he was told to say as the reason for Gleeson not playing. As much as I would like to believe he was implicated it seems that the scheme was cooked up by Rule and agreed with Cooper and Gleeson. I don't see what else Agar could have done in this situation, he didn't even sound sincere when he said he had an illness.

Probably because he knew the truth? The same Gleeson also who continues to be on the lash with long (if you believe longs twitter feed).

That's the point I'm trying to make. There is no suggestion that Agar was involved in the cover-up orchestrated by Mr Rule; if he covered anything up, it was to fans and the media, which is something that clubs do every day of the week. Given the seriousness of the investigation - first into a failed drugs test then into an attempt by a senior officer to collude with others to pervert the outcome of that investigation - it seems to me that he did exactly the right thing. If he'd have blabbed about it whilst it was still ongoing, the individuals under investigation and the UKDA investigating officers would have been rightly perturbed.
Quote: steve_norton "Jeez you took the words out of my mouth, just been on there to see whats being said !!!
Can you provide quotes to back up your claims?

| Why would people like to think Agar was in on this? Ok he wasn't the best for you but surely wishing he was now part of a cover up and subsequently punished is a bit harsh.

Maybe because he stitched Hull up over Luke Briscoe and also told both Dowes and he was going to sign them and then at the last minute changed his mind

But what does any of that have to do with a failed drugs test and a bungled cover-up job by your then Chief Exec, Conditioner and a player?

I am sure he did know the truth but keeping something confidential on your employers behalf and being involved in the cover up are two different things. I am sure after the Luke Briscoe thing if he was in anyway implicated Hull FC would have included his name in their statement, there is no love lost between AP and the previous regime now.
