| Don't think we're missing Horne at all, his role should be reduced to utility cover, and unless he can rediscover his form we need to let go at the end of next year. He has been a great servant but we can't justify keeping him on the pay he will be on, especially considering the amount of injuries he is picking up.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

This is the point, I reckon. Horne [iis[/i the answer at stand off - he's a very good six when he's got a proper SH alongside him - but getting them both on the pitch together seems to be a rare occurrence. If Horne can get back to fitness, we don't need another six.
That said, I also think Whiting could do an excellent job there given the chance. If we ever get Calderwood back on the pitch, who knows? Maybe Whiting will get a shot there.

With Tom back next week on the wing, (Hally on the bench) Turner going well in the centre I see no reason why Whiting could not be given a shot now, his ability to read a game is second to none, worth a go imo..

| Hope i'm wrong here but i think dont richard horne will recapture his best form now, for me i would like hull to start grooming tansey into the number 6 spot, i think within a few consecutive games at stand off he would go well there, as for the full back spot i think hull have enough cover there, surely the enterprising play that a long tansey half back partnership would bring can only benefit an ever improving hull side.

| Why are people so obsessed with moving Tansey to 6? He's doing an excellent job at 1, and now he has stopped trying to hard he is making less errors and becoming more clinical with his play. People are acknowledging this by putting him in their top 3 MOM each week!
Why channge what is good for a gamble? CONSISTENCY and MOMENTUM!

| I really don't get the whole Tansey to play in the halves idea that people are pushing on here given how his role in the team gives him so much freedom to float around the pitch and moving him to 6/7 would get rid of that from his game.
Personally i think a combo of Berro/Long with Washy/Houghton at 9 would be the best balance.

Me too. His start of season form was excellent and if he can recapture that and get on the field at the same time as Longy we have a new X factor going into the back end of the season.

That wouldn't be a bad call imo.
