19862_1323383936.jpg This is Poorhouse Lane. And this is Neil, the rovers supporter who leads an exciting double life. For when Neil sponsors RLFANS an amazing transformation occurs. [color=#80BF40:1y1okols]Neil is Cabbageman[/color:1y1okols]. Ever alert for the call no injury too small!

| Quote: Chris71 "I'd simply leave as is, Tansey is here to be the FB so no reason to move him out of that position. If either Horne or Long or both are not risked then Turner & Washy get their chance in the halfs. Just can't see what good it would do moving players around who have put in great perfomances in the positions they've played so far and what it would achieve when for my mind we do not need to do that.'"
Thata how I see it if we keep moving Tansey then if will be hard to be cohesive in the positioning needed to be a top class full back and I really fell he can be just that.

| Sorry if this has already been stated but Longy picked up an injury (assume it's the dead leg) when he made one particular tackle in the 2nd half. He fell pretty hard (and awkward) onto his side and from that point he was moving around the field with less fluency.

| Quote: PAUL M "Agreed.
Leave Tansey where he is and utilise either Washy or Turner in the halves. Too many changes could upset the team further. Although if Calderwood was fit then him coming in and Hall to centre, Whiting to FB and Tansey to 7 would also make sense.'"
Make your mind up what do you really think we should do ? nothing like covering your options !!!!

The injuries they are concerned about were sustained in the first half and meant that both Longy and Horney ha d to stay on excercise bikes all the half time break to keep from stiffening up! He may just have fallen on it again in the second!

Horney had a heavy strapping on his leg before the game kicked off.

| Anyone carrying a knock would have been rested for Wales anyway and i am sure we now have the cover to cope with such events, although i do not read much into these world exclusives anymore on here I must say that if there is a game to miss this is the one!!
Sure the likes of turner and Washy are more than capeable of covering and would be good to watch Turner also in a game where there are likely to be more openings than normal

| If there is any doubt was so ever with players they wont be risked,we have a big enough squad to cope with it,if they need a bit longer to recover ie long, radders then its not a big concern if they are left out for this game.

| If it is true, lets see what agar has been raving about turners versatility (spell check ), stick him at 7 for the crusaders game...Leave Tansey at full back please mr.agar, no need to rock the boat too much!

| I would go with that Garroway, Washy had a few attempts in the position last year and never really shone at it. Turner has been getting rave reviews from everyone not just Agar so the lad must have something about him.
If Long is carrying any kind of knock going into this game or any of the early season games it would be foolish to risk him.

I bet he puts Washy in there from the start and see how the games going. Maybe replace him with Turner if its in the bag to see what he is like !

| I can understand what people are saying regarding resting players carrying knocks etc, and i completely agree but we can't just be resting players based on the opposition. It's already evident from the opening 2-3 games that no teams can be taken lightly this year, (crusaders included). I expect nothing less than a very very tough game on sunday against a team who will no doubt be buoyed by their big win last week. I hope the players don't go into the game carrying the mentality of some on here, otheriwse we WILL get turned over.

| They are probably waiting for the results of the precautionary scan that all players with knocks have!

| Still worried that without Long we're exposed at 7, any other position on the field would not be a problem. You just worry that without him we'll be back to making yardage but unable to get over the line.
