Very unlikely. Pearson has already stated in an interview with Humberside that this probably won't be happening, that it's key that the two clubs remain separate, and that if it ever were to happen he would make sure that our current u16s group and ringfenced and kept to Hull FC.

There is more for KR to gain from it than FC would, so I doubt that it would happen any time soon.

So do people still think we will get chase?

Depends on whether his visa is granted so wait and see on that.

Just going to ask something similar and how people feel about the whole roller coaster ride that has ended (for the moment) in disappointment.

A different scenario but last year we were linked to the great Mr Lockyer and did make him an offer, that he admitted he gave consideration to, before deciding he would stick to his plan to retire. Whilst that got us all excited and we were disappointed he chose not to come, most fans accepted it was no great surprise. However what it did do was to create a level of expectation for somebody of that level, which of course then didn't materialise.

So the hype around Lockyer (and Tim Sheens who we had also made an offer to to be our coach!!!) actually backfired on the Club as fans were massively disappointed that no star name appeared and we confirmed Denis Bets as Coach. Very unfortunate for Denis, who has had to battle through some pretty awful results, until finally getting a fit squad together with a few decent additions and now getting reasonable performances.

So I hope for your sakes that you do get a few high profile signings and avoid the level of disappointment we had. A really bad outcome for Chase for the rest of the season. Can Cas play him? I just hope the visa glitch isn't a permanent one.

Why cant Cas play him? He is in the squad for Sundays game against Wire.

after listening to pearsons interview i am still hopeful of chase coming for 2013 and also with him saying a 6 + 7 does this mean seymour will definitely not be here next year and does this add fuel to the tickle + seymour to hudds in return for brough fire? because pearson didn't deny he was a target ?

Adam Pearson leaves nothing to chance; I don't think he will risk losing out on his other targets now Chase can't sign this season.

You could be waiting on a visa decision for months, in that time other clubs could have signed his targets, it was without doubt worth trying to sign him and rushing his visa through for the derby but is it now worth the risk waiting?

Certainly going to be interesting on 4th September, I am not dissapointed Chase is not coming as tbh I didnt expect him to come this season.

I do think he will definately be an FC player next seaason IF he is granted a Visa, but it depends on that. AP said we had been trying for 10 days to get a Visa sorted so we have done the deal with Cas for him.
