Didn't make sense to me to be signing three props in the space of a week when we are desperate for a SR/Centre. Don't doubt Watts would've been a steady signing for rest of year but rather the cap space be used elsewhere.

I think to say never go back is just a cliche. I don’t think you can have too many props. Clearly Watts has opinions that doesn’t make him a bad acquisition. He has experience. If he’s not fit that’s a reversible condition. I guess there’s salary cap issues and a need for back rowers, centres so these decisions are never easy. Given our propensity if u pardon the pun for injuries I’d have him if he’d come and Cartwright will sort him

I'd take Watts to the end of the season what is there to lose? It was a stupid decision to sell him with no replacement in the first place. The sale was about the turning point in our fortunes.

Yeah we effectively replaced him with Masi Matongo. Despite Liam's poor discliplinary record it was a really bad move in retrospect.

That said it was seven years ago... not sure that Watts is the answer any more. Missed pretty much one in three games in the last three seasons.

6 has to be our priority next year along with backrow, I'd definitely be using our quota spot on a 6 unless we can get Lam or Pryce.

Another note, despite having another year on his contract, I'd definitely be looking at extending Ese Ese deal for another two ASAP. Otherwise come Dec 1st, it will be hard to keep him.

I like bachelor although he seems to have had some injury problems but definitely the quality of player we need
