Another wrong decision about the Saints try which was a try!

THis head injury stuff and ref calling the decision on a try before it hits the video ref is not going well with me atm

We copied the ref call thing from the NRL, despite it being very negatively received by fans. Boggles the mind.

I think Saints may actually have worse discipline than us.

Refs finally waking up to Saints tactics.

All ive seen so far in the two sky games is the video refs just bottle it and go with whatever the ref says even if its wrong.

But at least VRs there disagreed with the onfield ref sometimes. That no try may have been right, but not for the reason given

Looks like cunningham's tactics are to stand offside constantly and illegally slow the PTB down at every opportunity. bentham needs to bin a couple more and get to grips with it

I wonder if you will like the latest idea from the NRL being trialled at tonights charity match between Souths and Saints. 10 officials will control the match comprising 2 on-field refs,4 touchline officials, 2 in goal officials and 2 video refs.

Jordan Turner is developing into a very good player and there young prop Walmsley is going to be top notch.

Yep WZ, have to agree. Walmsley looks a class act, he's come on a lot. Turner too looks the part but the whole squad looks half decent. Any idea why Lomax doesn't kick anymore ? It'll be interesting to see how Cunningham runs the show, some of the tactics last night weren't exactly 'inspiring'...

As Hull essentially replaced Turner with Arundel we can safely say that this is one piece of business that hasn't worked out, as it wouldn't have been a financial decision if Arundel's alleged salary is true.

The run of penalties was strange as you don't see that too often but that's because most refs bottle it after about 3 in a row frightened they'll be labelled biased and turn a blind eye to continued offending. Presumably that's what the Sts were hoping would happen. Credit to the ref in this case for remaining consistent and not backing down in this unusual battle of wills.
