he's definately a player i would have liked us to have kept if we could, think he wanted to go part time for one reason or another. normally when a player leaves a club, the fans say 'no big loss' etc etc. you won't hear any hull fans speak like that of martin

If he performs anything like he has for Hull in the last 6 months, he will clean up at the player of the year awards at Leigh and in the championship next season.

Thought a poor panic signing at the time, has been more than impressed with attitude workrate and ability since the season started. Im sure he will look a true quality signing for Leigh.

Totally proved me wrong, and turned out to be better than big named players like Westerman. (Although Westerman STILL has potential, I just hope he taps into it one day!) Would've liked to have seen him here for another 2 years, but best of luck to him. Leigh have signed an absolute cracker!

Westerman's wasted in the middle. He plays much better when out wide.
If he plays like he has this season, Aspinwall will be a class above the rest in the Championship. |

To add further confusion, Aspinwall is on your (Hull) register of players to be released, that was submitted to the RFL, who then circulated it to all clubs. |
