I agree, he has looked disjointed so far but you can see what they are trying to do with him. Hopefully it improves over time, its certainly to early to write off.

He might well turn out to be but being the best long term option doesn't preclude him from performing well in the short term. As I said he needs more games but he needs to up his game in the short to medium term. I hope he has a blinder against Cats.

I personally think people expect way to much from Westerman in terms of attack. He along with everyone else has had to adapt to the way Gentle wants individuals and the team play.

I'd keep giving Westerman a chance. If you remember last season he started slowly but made some great performances after a few weeks.

If he doesn't improve than I'd move him to the bench and start Aspinwall at 13, but I think he deserves to keep his place for the time being.

Hopefully we don't try and beat them up the middle of the park. We're much stronger out wide than they are. Need to exploit this.

Not expecting to win this game, I really fancy Catalans to be right up there....However Gentle has made it clear he expects to see improvements every game so who knows, I would be very happy if we get the result!

Might of already been mentioned but i thought Westerman was carrying some more bulk as opposed to last season.

Changing Westerman after 2 games is ridiculous, give him time.

I'd try Westerman as the second row interchange and give Whiting a go at 13. Most have said that Westerman was effective out wide last season, and Whiting has looked good in the short spells he's had this year, so it seems a decent option.
