I thought he did OK. At fault for NZ's first try but otherwise solid in defence and scored two easy tries. Certainly not the disaster some were predicting but hardly outstanding either.

i would say he got involved more than briscoe, but hall got more involved as well which makes me think they were previously under orders not to. if not then good on him for running from dummy half, boo im for his poor defence for their first try tho

| Fox was good tonight, a real confidence booster for the kid, however you still have an outstanding young player in Briscoe, best of luck to both of them.

i thought that although he was slightly out of position for their 1st try, they had an overlap anyway due to a non sliding defence.i agree that whilst he took his trys well n did ok,he was hardly the fantastic mr fox some of our inbred neighbours are declaring.

Don't agree Kosh, i though he was outstanding. His work out of dummy half was superb and he gave the team a genuinely solid platform out of their back end and along with Hall enabled the forwards to constantly get over the advatage line from exit sets. Was left a little exposed for the Kiwi's first try but they worked a two man overlap on England and had he held his line they would probably have still scored.
Guess thats Toms international career over now then

That's OK - it's allowed.
I thought he had a decent game apart from the one defensive lapse and was the better of our two wingers tonight, but some of the hyperbole being heaped on him is way OTT.

Played OK but not outstanding. That accolade should be reserved for our forwards. Took his tries well and slipped up once in defence. Solid apart from that mistake.

He wasn't outstanding, he was solid. He brought the ball away okay and nothing more and was left wanting for the NZ first try. Took his tries well and diffused the one high ball he had to deal with. Should keep his place but will be put under much more pressure next week.

Crabtree has been a surprise package for me in this competition - great to see him so involved and finding a couple of impossible offloads.

Yes agree has caused some serious damage. An old fashioned type of forward seems to be catching the opposition out a bit.

And I was laughed out the room when I suggested Crabtree was the one player I would pay top dollar for at Rovers. The man is quality.
