I think you will find the RFL do not let clubs go over the salary cap in any season.

I'll probably get a season pass, just to contribute to the club so they can spend up to the maximum on the salary cap

Will deffo buy one next season but will expect a big improvement on this season (i.e reaching the play offs and getting past the first round of the cup) if I'm to buy one in 2011.

Well, it works like this,
at the start of the season I sell you a "pass" buying that "pass" guarantess your seat for the season, in fact, if you keep the "pass" for all time then you can keep your seat for all time (or at least, atht's how we sell them, at first)

then, when we're going well and defying all expectation, we announce that, to get the "pass" next season you have to join the "loyalty" club for £60, BUT that does mean you get a "discount" on your "pass", if you don't join, and someone else does, and they want the seat that your "pass" covers, then it's theirs, it's what we like to call "negative loyalty" on our behlaf to you.

I believe your wrong there. I may ke wrong but clubs have to show they'll have room on the cap to sign players. So we would have to show that we had say half a million pounds of contracted players going ooc before we could sign Fitzgibbon, Long and O'Meley.

We'll be getting passes as usual.Once the dust has settled down and the sense of being ripped off died away . As other posters have mentioned we have had a player Cull,and have signed some real quality.

Hull FC's most expensive last season - up to 31st December = £215. You could purchase up to 31st Jan also for £278, but IIRC the vast majority buy before the end of the year. Still good payment terms, though, to be able to get the discount up to 6 weeks before the season starts.
