There's no real long-term point buying players for the under-20s - iirc Pearson was suggesting he'd have to buy players to fill the squad roles that would be filled by under-20s if the system were stronger.

Very unlikely. Pearson has already stated in an interview with Humberside that this probably won't be happening, that it's key that the two clubs remain separate, and that if it ever were to happen he would make sure that our current u16s group and ringfenced and kept to Hull FC.

There is more for KR to gain from it than FC would, so I doubt that it would happen any time soon.
