| Peet for me, Wigan have been the best to watch for me this season and probably the best team in super league so far. Love watching French and Field.

| Not quite sure what Rowley has done to deserve a nomination

| Has to be Lam, took a newly promoted team to 5th and won the cup, imagine someone saying that before the season started.
Not a massive suprise Wigan winning the league.

Agreed think it has to be Lam as they were just about every one’s favourite for battling relegation. What Leigh have achieved under Lam this year has been brilliant.
Think it took last season for Peet & Wigan to settle into his role but they look very solid under him now.
Very surprised the Great Messiah over the river hasn’t been named as Coach of the Year already though there must be an issue with the internet again for him to not even be a nomination

Spot on, that is the only reason for his strop. If the roles had been reversed and this loophole was benefiting Rovers he'd be fine with it.'"
For me it’s no big deal as it’s always been the case that reserve fixtures could/would count in terms of bans.
Think Appleyard should stick to using his crayons for colouring books as agree he is a very poor sports reporter. Funnily he seemed ok when Rovers fielded almost a complete reserve side including short term loan deals devaluing the league competition , which is a bigger issue.

cartoons/WB17.gif I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.
Money doesn't talk it swears, Obscenity who really cares, Propaganda all is phony.
I'm the son and heir of a shyness which is criminally vulgar.
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way.

| Will be a little surprised if either Leigh or Warrington win these upcoming games
Can only realistically see comfortable home wins both tonight and tomorrow.
Next weekend though could be very interesting.

Agree with this. 2 home wins this weekend and then next weekends games are both 50/50s.
I am a believer that a week off isn't as helpful as it sounds. Great for recharging and giving players time to recover from knocks but I do really think it can throw you out of rhythm.

Lam probably should be coach of the Super league era on what hes done this season to get a newly promoted team to win the Cup and super league top 5
Incredible achievement and imo no pressure on them tonight given they've won the cup

| Rovers games can be awfully tough to watch some times. Their world class atmosphere is nothing but booing the referee and shouting for penalties for 80 minutes.

| Not convinced at all that's a try. Think Mellor has done brilliantly to get under the ball.
On field decision needs scrapping next year.

| Bet there won't be much whining from that lot about tonight's refereeing performance, Leigh look gassed though.
