Which is understandable! It's like Kieran being an adult at most clubs yet being able to buy a young adult ticket at others!

Amyway, it's 60, wether you or I agree with it isn't going to change anything.'"
I didn't generalise about anything so I really don't understand what you mean? The reason why concessions are given to OAP's and the disabled is because they generally have no other earning potential. To means test every concession would be for every applicant to show bank accounts etc and that just isn't possible. Bumpy originally said there is a significant level of fraud to age related concessions, but I don't see how there could be because as he knows, any concession has to show proof and in fact has to show proof every ticket bought if you don't have a seasons pass. I know of at least one person who doesn't have a pass and has to show the club his concession proof every game.

Most OAP's have no other means of earning any other income, ie thats why they call it having a fixed income. I suppose you'll be having a pop at the disabled next who are in an almost identical situation
Oh come off it. I'm not 'having a pop'. That was you, calling people 'clueless' for disagreeing with you.

Indeed, gone are the days when a dad can lift his "4" year old son over the turnstile only for him to puff his little chest out and announce to the world that he wasn't 4 but 6!!!

Nope, it was me calling Bumpy for being clueless on how concessions work and why and him saying there is significant fraud on age related concessions.

Aye, I'm sure we've let plenty of those through the turnstiles in our time, nod, nod, wink, wink

Erm, its the government and their agencies that calls it being on a fixed income. My Dads friend went to Hull FC until he was 97, how much earning potential other than his pension exactly did he have.

so, generalising based on a specific individual?
lets just leave it, we fon't agree, life would be boring if we all had the same opinions.

Nope, how many 80 year olds would you employ? Being on a fixed income is not a generalisation. Its about having no other earning potential, but how would you impliment clubs means testing? Isn't it easier just to have everyone on a state pension have a concession?

I expected a concession for the student, which I got, and for me, but the girl in the Hull shop, told him Saints concessions were for 65year and up, and advised him, to pay for a full price ticket for me, as I am not 65, wondered what the policy is on ticket pricing for 60 to 65 year olds, it seems pretty petty if Saints are using this ruling.'"
You've opened a right can of worms here.

Think it’s finished now, won’t mention I missed out on my bus pass, as the council changed the rules, and now I have to wait till I’m 67 for it, when my mates hop on and off gratis, the greedy old buggers.
