| INOUT Quote: *1865* "Our halves are not the problem this year and you'd be daft to think they are tbh.'"
Yes how right you are Leon has been brilliant at times Sneyd doing his job not always right (more kicking low into the area for me) But Westerman everybodys hero how bloody poor has he been - becoming the nearlyman for me. Houghton? Props ? Make a note of Bowden running back with his back to play for the first try for Cas on Friday. Three try Tommy with an awful attempt to tackle Carney. Talanoea just knock the ball dead and take the drop out. Lots of awful moments but we won and then lost that game. Cas were not any better than us but if we carry on like this we are really doomed.

| Quote: ComeOnYouUll "Five clean breaks - joint 26th. That's the same number as Chase and once fewer than McGuire and Gale. To be fair there's only five scrum halves in the top 50.
Seventeen missed tackles - joint 22nd. Same number as fellow scrum halves McGuire and O'Brien and fewer than Ellis and Kelly (who has the highest figure for both of these in terms of scrum halves).'"
I'd expect that, to be fair. In most cases, I'd expect a scrum half doing his job well to be the provider of the pass for a clean break, rather than the one going through the gap. I'd expect the top 50 to be more heavily populated by threequarters, fullbacks and some backrowers TBH.

| I'd rather you walk, Radders offers much more to the club than you.

Correct. Our game plan is the same as usual and consists of not backing up or supporting players under any circumstances. Our attack is so slow and ball distribution so terrible we never create any space. By the time we pass along the line we usually are covered (by good sides) and then look at Leeds speed accross the line, they have overlaps often.
Mind you, we very rarely pass along the line and prefer the drop off ball back inside!!

| With Ellis and Sneyd out I can't see us winning either of the next 2 games.
Even if (and its a huge if) we beat Widnes and Wakey we will have 8 points out of a possible 22 and will be nearly half way through the regular reason. Any chance of the top 8 will be all but gone.
Does anyone on here think that is close to being remotely acceptable?
Surely 11 games is enough on which to judge the coach?
Pearson has said he will not sack Radford but hopefully he will "persuade" Radford to keep to his word and walk. That way we get rid of Radford and Pearson is not being seen to go back on what he has said.

| Wont get anything from Saints, even if we are to sack Radford, it is important than we at least stay in the touch with the top 8, so that if a new coach or DOR comes in, we still have a chance of the 8.
IMO winning 2/3 is a must.

| If both Ellis and Sneyd are out for the next few games then it's game over I am afraid, Lee will not walk and Pearson won't give him the boot, even if he did, who would come in?
It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have any money and were struggling for signings, but we've laid out a bucket of cash and ended up with nothing to show for it. Pryce, Snead, Westerman, Ellis, none of whom are cheap.

I can actually see us losing to Rovers and beating Saints. One day's extra rest could make a big difference, especially after they have had a physical game against Wigan. I also don't expect much of a forward battle against Rovers. They will be lacking props again (I think Allgood is back but Green will almost certainly be banned) so I expect them to take us on the edges at every opportunity. Therefore our pack should be reletively fresh.
If we can beat Rovers it could turn into a very good few weeks with Widnes and Sheffield coming up, which might not necessarily be a good thing because it means Radfords job is safe for the year.

| I don't understand AP, granted he knows little about RL, but he has been running football clubs for years and has never shied away from getting rid of people who arn't up to the job.

And if you listen to him reflect on his time in charge at City, he constantly states his regret at doing it that way with certain managers.
Not great news for us though!

He gets rid of them and then appoints Ian Dowie.
Or gets rid of Gentle and appoints Radford.
The problem you have is that Adam Pearson IS Hull FC
He's invested millions now in this failing self indulgence, and there is no chance of him ever getting his money back.
It's over now, all that's left is a Mike Ashley/Newcastle United type scenario.
