A slower full back can make up for a lack of pace with clever positioning. I don't think Kearney's that great defensively, but he looks ok in attack.

Probably not, but don't see the point in bringing in someone equally as slow.

Not even if they're likely to play more games? Horne can't be relied on as a first choice.

Ideally I wouldn't want either as our first choice fullback. We'll just have to wait until 2014 and sign Greg Eden. I heard his aunt Maurine is from Hull and he used to stay with her down Hessle road. He has apparently been telling friends it's an ambition of his to play for us one day

At least he's a specialist full back. We originally tried to get him when wade left.

you have got to be ting me darius boyd jesus christ now you are really going along the lines of if they play in the nrl they must be better! tomkins with a few more years will be on level with slater they both are shakey under a high ball with pressure applied, slater is probably quicker but sam is trickier to tackle, both scare teams when they start to run and i would say sam has better hands but slater has been at the top alot longer.

I agree there 's a need to bring someone in. Would like to see a bit of pace added to the side at 1 or 6, but don't see it with Holdsworth & Kearney.
