I whole heartedly agree with Ian P absolute disaster looms!!

However it was good to see someone at Hull Daily Mail with some sense

angus young (@angus_young61) tweeted at 6Allam pledges £1m to Labour but hasn't offered a bean to amateur clubs shown door by SMC #AircoEviction @Airco_For_All (https://twitter.com/angus_young61/statu ... 1669792768) Get the official Twitter app at https://twitter.com/downloadp

Quote: WormInHand "Tweet from Carpet yesterday

Is there a new story about the KC?'"

Only listened to the second half of the Burnsey show earlier today where the Airco evictions were being discussed. A guy, presumably Hull City supporter rang in, quite eloquently as it turned out, and mentioned that Hull City (via the SMC) was subsidising the rugby club to the tune of £1,000,000 per year. Burnsey stated that he too thought this was the case.
He had incidentally rang various parties, including HCC, the Allams, Adam Pearson etc, etc to speak out about the above and not one single party had taken up his offer to speak on air. The public were also invited to ring it but only affected parties who are vacating the arena bothered.

Call me a bluff old traditionalist, but I'd like to see some evidence of that, plus how it is broken down, if indeed it is true.

Isn't that based on the figures in the SMC accounts... the largest work of fiction since the bible...

Sounds like it is going to happen regardless.

They can build all the grass sheds they want they still will not produce a Hull born full England international player in the next 15 years.

Never have, never will

.Burnsie is right up Allam he would black is white if Allam said it was, Burnsie is quick to judge many others on his programme but steers clear of going against Allam

The appeal panel has concluded that the decision of the FA Council "cannot stand", and have "set it aside", so Mr Allam can apply again for 2015/2016.

So Mr Allam will argue that the FA Council decision has been thrown out.

Here it is....

Quote: Hull City "The Club can confirm winning the arbitration case against the FA, having proved successfully that the process adopted by the FA was unfair and bias

The arbitration panel ruled unanimously in the Club’s favour, setting the FA’s decision aside, effectively leaving the Club’s original application unanswered. The ball is now in the FA’s possession, with the Club seeking clarification on how the FA will proceed in a fair and un-bias manner. '"

Is that really their press release? Shoddy.

The ball goes into someone else's "court" for starters, just because it's football doesn't mean you change your metaphor, and the words they're looking for are "biased" and "un-biased". 6.5 out of 10.

Plus the judgment says "At this stage of the season, it would be impractical and wholly inappropriate to direct the association to make a fresh decision to take effect during the current season. The club is free to make a new application", suggesting that the ball is now back with City to resubmit their application. Looks like they might end up arguing the toss over who has the ball icon_lol.gif

The only good thing is that Mr Allam insisted that he would never re-apply for a name change.

I hope he does put in another application and that one also gets thrown out. You'd see some serious dummy-spitting then.
