| couldn't make tonight as am in London, what did turgut play like? got the impression the team effort top notch but just lacking nous, then losing connor and green made it really hard, guess the season over for us but imo injuries have been the main reason,

Turgut had a good game, probably his best game for Hull. Especially as he got pushed out to the centre when we lost Connor.
Yeah 100% effort just lacking a bit of quality. The 2 man bench told at the end too as we looked really fatigued defending.
The only thing that annoys me is if they put that sort of performance in last week they'd have won.

Pleased for Turgut.I like many had written him off but lets see if he can back it up next week.
We keep saying Plenty of endeavour and enthusiasm but once again we switch off when we go two scores in front followed by the usual errors and poor defence once Saints hit back.
Our right edge defence is a major concern

| Listening on the radio Hull were dominant for 50 mins and being 18-10 up. Lomax went up a gear according to the commentary.

The edge defence is a concern although I do think the fact it's a different combination in the 3/4s every week can't help.

I honestly don't think we were dominant for 50 minutes. Both teams had periods of dominance throughout the game.
Saints just had a bit extra towards the end of the game. I don't think 18-34 reflects the game.
I would love to see both sides at full strength, would be a belting game.

| Typified our season tonight in that game. Inconsistency at its finest.
We showed when we played with speed and intensity we were more than a match for Saints regardless of the personnel on the pitch.
What cost us was the unforced errors, the almost pathetic goal line defence and our drop in intensity at times.
Was optimistic of the win at half time but just capitulated in the latter half of the game.

| cant fault our effort, for 50 minutes we gave the best team at 99% full strength a test, a couple of dog poo decisions against us, barba losing the ball from abduls' hit and the softest penalty of the match, at 18-10 to us, considering what the ref let go during the game, got them the lift they needed to get back in the game
unless we get anybodies back, we risk losing 5th spot

I don’t think Tarquin actually exists. I think it is just a computer glitch

5th is of little importance IMO. With Connor, Green and Kelly now added to Shaul, Talanoa, Griffin, Sneyd, Bowden, Manu and Westerman we're screwed. Imagine Saints without Barba, Makinson, Percival, Swift, Lomax, Fages, Walmsley, Amor, Taia, Douglas. That's the scale of the crisis. As already said it's a relief to have secured safety with this to deal with, imagine losing another couple of players and having to go to Headingley or Toronto.
