The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

He wasn't, he showed flashes of very good play mixed in with inconsistency, poor reads in defence and a few important errors.
If he was that good Bellamy wouldn't be playing Chase Blair in the centres.

We'll agree to disagree on Fonua.
The bit about Cheyse Blair is irrelevant though, you're always going to have to balance the cap when you have Smith, Bromwich, Cronk & Slater on your roster. The fact they signed cast offs like Blair & Ryan Morgan is testimony to that. I'd hazard a guess that we were willing to pay Fonua a good chunk more than he'd have been able to command at Melbourne at the time. Much like he'll be getting offered massively improved terms if he were to return to the NRL next season. He didn't come to Hull for the sunshine.

Towards his end of his time there he went from a interchange player to dropped. He hardly played in the 2nd half of the season. Storm can always find decent money for outside backs, addo Carr won't be on peanuts, so my point about Blair isn't redundant because it isn't about money. Blairs more consistent and doesn't make the poor reads and errors Fonua does. That's why he plays for Bellamy.

| Fonua has been fantastic for us. He goes down as legend because he was part of the CC winning team at Wembley and I'd waited 42 years to see that having started watching FC at 18. If he goes well thanks lad because you've done very good for us. When we signed him I thought he was not good enough. Way too prone to errors but in SL Jesus been great. He will go back a better player. If he stays for this sason and goes back after we win the Grand Final well that will really top it off. Need to keep Sika. Need a good hard mongrel in the pack for next year and we will be fine. Hope Motu has got us sorted before he goes

| Manu wouldn't get an NRL deal now. The weekend he was announced, he was named on the bench for Penrith so I watched the game, and he had a nightmare! So glad that he has turned out to be a real unsung hero - a better version of Adam Maher

| Sounds like Adam Pearson is pretty much resigned to Fonua leaving at the end of the season. In his programme notes for tonight's game he says there has only been minimal contact but admits the we cannot compete with NRL clubs in terms of signing players and if Mahe does head home he will leave with the club's best wishes. He also says we have adequate targets lined up to replace him.

Can't see it, most contracts have a NRL get-out clause I think. A real X factor player for us, huge boots to fill but an FC legend forever with his hand in both Wembley winning tries.
