With your stat collection surely you can provide something to show why my comments about Berrigan were wrong? Plus I said Berrigan has been 'very average' over here in SL, not a mention of his time in the NRL.
But back on topic, give on of the young lads a chance for a wing position next year, it sounds like 3 lads can do the job. Make them aware of the situation and imagine the battle for that one position between them.

| The idea of giving next year's first choice wing spot to one of three young players who haven't yet started a single SL game between them, whilst proposing to get rid of our experienced, former international winger is just plain silly.

Can't see us getting Watts at all.
Although the other two you mentioned may be worth a shot, both have played for us before and what about Luke Burgess? I really like the look of him.

| We'll only really be able to judge properly if/when Lynne and/or Tuffour get a chance in the 1st team and how they do. ATM, I'd say if he'll accept a 1 year deal, do it. If not, depends on what else we can bring in and the impact it would have on that.

I'm sure he's out of contract at the end of this season . A more than capable replacement for Cussack imo.

I replied to this rather stupid comment of yours that Berrigan has played hooker in over 95% of his games for FC when you made the point originally. Berro has played 49 SL games for Hull, so for your comment to be true he would have played only 2 games not at hooker. Considering he was cover at SH for Dykes in 2008 (who missed 15 or so games through injury), played SH a bit when Thorman was dropped in 2009 and has played at centre and in the back row, your statement is bollox. No offence.

| I remember him at scrum half but not for 15 or so games that Dykes was missing for, you not got a match program or two that will show this? If not, someone must have.
Maybe me saying 95% of the time at hooker might just be a little out but probably not by much, I hope your not counting these very few times he may have covered in the back row for a few moments during a game.
As you can maybe see, unlike you, my stong point aint math.
So has he performed to the standard since his arrival that has deemed him worthy of such a large contract?

He has certainly played more than 2 matches away from Hooker. Tommy Lee and Houghton were sharing it for long spells while Dykes was missing. In fact Berrigans first ever game for the club was at Centre so thats another one. I'd say its closer to 70% of his time at Hooker.
As for his level of performance and the size of his contract (what is the size by the way?) I'd say his first season here he was playing at an acceptable standard whilst being moved about a fair bit. He wasn't so good last year but then the whole team was poor last year and this year we are finally seeing what he is capable of because we have a pack that can lay the platform for him.

Berrigan has earned his money. He was doing the best with what he had to work with and helped the club to a major final.
Whereas Dobson and Rovers have....well......errrrr

"With injuries decimating Hull's start to the 2008 season berrigan played almost everywhere but hooker, filling in at centre, stand-off, scrum-half, second-row and loose-forward.
Despite being switched around the team, the Aussie was still Hull's stand-out player. But it was his performances at hooker which really caught the eye and saw him sweep the end of season awards. Has been one of the the clubs best performers for the past two seasons."
Answers both points, I think. He's played a lot of games not in the hooking role, and he was player of the year in 2008 when we made a major final. Do try harder.
