| Quote: Rocknrolla69er "Begs the question have any of our players been vaccinated?'"
The club did say some players took the opportunity to have one when we had a break due to Covid the other week, many have had Covid before so will have had antibodies from that anyway. Due to age I doubt many are double jabbed though.

| First time for years I’m not fancying us.
After our indifferent form of late and Rovers playing out of their skins, for me Rovers start slight favourites which I know in a derby can mean little. Have been very impressed with the way Smith has got them playing, some sparkling attacking rugby at times, and now some self belief.
This will be a tough game.
Hoping the form book goes out the window and we are lifted by returning players.
Always find Derby’s a difficult day and though hopeful, mine is starting with my glass half empty, praying it’s full of bubbly stuff at the end. COYH

| Love this fixture and this year marks the 75th anniversary of the first derby I saw back in 1946. My mum was Rovers and dad Hull and I was taken to Craven Park with them aged 8. Had the programme of the match for decades before it was lost in a house move but I still remember some of the players. Bob Kavanagh and Freddie Miller for Hull and Wilf McWatt, Maurice Daddy and Alec Dockar for Rovers. McWatt and Miller were the respective fullbacks who engaged in long kicking duels.Cannot remember who won!
Alec Dockar was an international loose forward for both England and GB and during the war was a guest player for Hull.
The last derby I attended was in 1980 when I came from Aus. to take my mum to Wembley, my dad having died some 12 years earlier. The result made my mum's day.

| 5 days to go and I've just deleted 4 pages worth of complete and utter crap. You can discuss the GAME and that's it. If you want to talk about the past, mergers, who owns what ground, who owes what money, who has the more expensive squad and the rest of the tit for tat crap then either do it on the myriad of Facebook groups that are full of it right now, or even see if Mild Rover will allow you to spout it over there, but I simply don't have the time or inclination to referee you lot. Thank you.

| 5 tickets purchased for £151 for my brother and his son-in-laws in W4.
Haven't seen any of them since the last home Derby 18 months or so-ish ago.
We will rendezvous in Albert at 11am for pre-game festivities.
Win or lose, we'll drink some booze.

| Can't wait TBH. Gonna be a cracker. I can see a red card being used as I've a feeling it could kick of on the pitch. Feels like a proper derby brewing

| Quote: Rocknrolla69er "What's the information on the covid isolating rules changing?'"
I don't think they need to.
Assuming 10 days isolation starts on the day of your test (not the day of the results), then the 7 day fitness assessment would end on Saturday.

Hopefully that's right. Think if we get those back then we will win a close game. If we get those back + Connor then we win by 3/4 scores.

Well we need to bring our A game on Saturday. When you're playing the prospective world club champions, you know its going to be hard.

| I see the SMC will not be opening West End Upper for the game, whether it's needed or not.

| Quote: old faith full "Of course your wrong, neither club remotely look like grand finalists, if you think just getting by at Leigh and beating a poor Wigan side makes KR look like grand finalists, and I doubt many honest FC fans would at present say we look anything like it either.'"
Hull certainly don't look GF finalists at the moment but I believe Hull KR have as good chance as any other in the top 4.
You say Wigan are a very poor side and yet they are 4th in the league (table doesn't lie) and have beaten Hull FC this season. Whereas Rovers have beat them on both occasions. (Home and away) Hull were also convincingly beaten by Catalan on both occasions this season whereas Rovers came within a whisker on both occasions of beating them, suffering defeats by just one point and two points respectively.
In my view Rovers have nothing to fear from any of those above them in the league, especially on home soil, and with a full or near full strengh side. You sound like someone that has a mouthful of sour grapes to chew on to be perfectly honest.
With regards to the forthcoming derby. This will be roughly somewhere between 80 and 100 derbies that I will have witnessed since been around the age 13 years old.
Long enough and with enough experience under my red and white belt for me to not predict with any certainty which way it will go. It really is on the day and who wants it the most when it comes to Derby's.
I sincerely hope it is Rovers that want it the most come Saturday at 3pm. I'm also certain that Fc fans will be hoping it is their side that want it the most on Saturday come 3pm..
I also believe it will be a tough encounter, especially in the opening quarter, with nothing left in the tank of every player of both clubs by the end of 80 minutes.
If Rovers play to their full potential and get their defence right on the day, I believe that their attacking flair will be more than enough to get the result they want. But as I say, it is a derby and simple things can make all the difference on the day.

Wont be needed
looks like only 15000 for this game
I would have thought 20000 but it seems many still not confident about attending matches
