| Has a ref ever paid any attention to what Connor is saying to other players? He's a wind up merchant, not some sort of hate preacher

| My favourite player
We should groom him to be the future 6 and he will be our future
When we have an offense to match the best in SL he will be the instigator and the England number 6

Tbf you've already said Connor as a player is "very ordinary". Don't let him wind you up as well, that would be silly.

| Wouldn't swap him for any other player in SL at the minute, Barba included.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, he's the most naturally gifted player I've seen in a Hull shirt for years. He makes things happen whether or not he's got the ball and he hardly ever dies with it.
His tackle on McMeeken last weekend was typical Connor, McMeeken thought he could just knock him out of the way but in his efforts to do that he lost the ball and we scored.
Great stuff.

Are you for real Connor better than Barba I've heard it all now the only thing that's going to happen soon is Connor is going to start something and he will for once have to finish it instead of running away and hiding like the little bitch he is

Read it again. Why do you have problems understanding English?

As has already been pointed out, I didn't even suggest that Connor is better than Barba. I said I wouldn't swap him for any other player including Barba, I wouldn't bother quoting and replying if you don't understand what the post you quoted said.
And if you can provide me with video evidence of Connor running from anybody I'd be interested to see it.
And "little bitch"?, dear me.

Wow. Some top quality casual misogyny there. He irks you, doesn't he?

He could do worse to really drag the game down. Perhaps take drugs? Your team could provide invaluable advice on that.

| was the same when at huddersfield , i enjoyed it when he came through as a youngster and getting in the faces of the senior players
one of those where you love it if hes your player and you hate him if hes not, bit like danny brough who is hated by the opposition fans.
at the time i wasnt too bothered about losing connor but now its looking like a bad decision... always knew he had bags of talent. no wonder there was so much hullaballo between the two clubs when you signed him... bit back handed the way it was done... should have have compo really but thats the way it goes when you have a crap managing director like richard thewlis in charge at the giants.

| The abuse Connor gets is laughable, I've seen things like dirty grub and not a good role model. Most SL clubs have or recently had players who were dirtier or bad role models.
I think he needs to reign it in slightly as he is becoming a target for refs, his last two sinbinnings were hash and had it been another player I'd doubt they would have been binned.

| At least Connor will still be plying his trade in Super League for a good few years yet, unlike Barba.
Great talent and glad he's in the black and white. Liked him at Giants and was amazed we managed to get him signed. All the haters would love him lining up in their team.
As for Kelly's behaviour, is Cockayne still employed at the Dobbins?

Just to note that Jake Connor presumably self-identifies as somewhere on the masculine side of the gender spectrum.
I don’t mind him. Then again, I never saw why people got wound up by Kirk Yeaman - good player, good servant to Hull, pretty inoffensive seeming fella all round.
Connor has a lot of talent, and I think his role as a provocateur has been blown out of proportion a little. I hope for his sake that he keeps it well calibrated and he doesn’t get stuck with a reputation he doesn’t deserve. I thought his sin binning was the harshest of all those in your game with fev - shove and moonwalk shouldn’t be a yellow, least of all when Taulapapa smashed your fullback so early, the video ref offering advice was likely a diplodocus.

How is that relevant? See below from the website "Everyday feminism". i don't know whether Connor is vegan but he's obviously comfortable with deep conversation, on a minute to minute basis.
Emasculation of the Bitch
A man who shows emotion. A man who is empathetic, sympathetic, or comfortable with deep conversation. A man who is pacifist. A male vegetarian. A man who loses a bet or athletic competition. “Bitch” is considered rock bottom identity for traditional masculinity based on the dominance, strength, and virility of cisgender, heterosexual men. Any deviance from these stereotypes of masculinity could incur a bitch status, which insinuates (so very, very harmfully and wrongfully) homosexuality, transsexuality, asexuality, or a gentle and passive personality — to name a few.
This is no coincidence. It is the exact inverse of its use regarding masculine-identified females.
If a woman calls herself a badass bitch, it is understood to be a gender-deviant association to strong femininity; if a man is called a bitch, it is understood as a gender-deviant as weak masculinity. If you combine those two definitions, the message is that the strongest possible female is weaker than or equal to the weakest possible man.
That is why calling a man a bitch displays internalized sexism.
It traps both men and women into rigid gender roles that simply can’t be realistically fulfilling for every human in our culture, and it traps any outliers in the caste of the outcasts.
