Not a major coup by any means, good young player who will provide good balance alongside Miller. More of a running half and can kick. Horne will also provide useful experience.
Glad to see us going with youth rather than signing a Leon Pryce.

Spot on, definately a few question marks. The biggest one for me is can Miller bring some game management to the team now Holdsworth's gone and it looks as if our search for a 7 has ended with a 6/1. |

I'm also relieved its not Pryce. We seem to have plenty of cover at Fullback. |

Hopefully the two young lads can move us around the park and attack the opposition line. It will be nice to see two young halfbacks running around and organising play. Fingers crossed but hand on heart I have no concerns now in the halfback areas. Welcome to Hull.

Smailes in the HDM suggests he’s a tall rangy player, however in the video clips and photos I’ve seen of him he doesn’t seem to be particularly big. Has he been watching the same player?
He does appear to travel well with the ball in hand and appears to have a bit of a step. Hopefully he'll prove to be an astute signing.

See thats the thing, neither of these players are organising half backs, you could end with two headless chickens directing you around the park. |

I think two halves with running games will work well4 us. Can see rads looking to implement more of an offload and 2nd phase game. The two halves running and sniffing about along with shaul should make us more of a threat to opposition
